RESCUE DIVER
Dive Right | Diving Courses
On the PADI Rescue Diver course, you'll learn to make diving safe and more enjoyable for others, how to manage a dive accident if it occurs and even how to recognise and prevent them. The Rescue Diver course is the final step prior to becoming a full professional diver. It aims to teach you how to look after not only yourself but those around you as well.

With detailed theory on decompression illness, oxygen provision and other diving hazards, the rescue course is essential - but also a lot of fun. Divers describe it as the best course of all!

Diving the South coast, or local inland sites, you learn how to search for missing divers, help an unconscious diver, treat decompression illness, and other safety related topics. Under instructor supervision, your rescue management skills and knowledge are honed to the level required to take responsibility for other divers. To take full advantage of the course, you'll need an up to date knowledge of First Aid (within the last 2 years) and the Emergency First Response is the idea course. Ask about our special deal, when you enrol on both courses together!

The course takes 2 days, usually preceded by 1 theory session (evening) and an optional pool session during which you practice the skills that will be used in the open water. Over the weekend, the course is developed through practical sessions, and real time scenarios.
