Coeliac's Awareness Week
We at Dive Right Ltd. jump in at the jump end to help raise the Coeliac Society profile within the local and national community (via the press). The pool session was completely dedicated to try dives with part of their pool fee going direct to the Coeliac's charity funds.
What is Coeliac?
Well it's people who have an allergy to gluten & wheat (about 1 in 100 people).
Can they dive?
Yes, our senior PADI staff instructor is a coeliac, it doesn't stop him from teaching / pleasure diving or even completing deep technical dives. The only draw back is that they can't eat the lovely bacon sandwiches or Cornish pastes at the end of the dive, more for us!!
Child Victims of Crime
Our senior PADI Keyman/Staff Instructor (David Holdman) recently completed a deep/technical dive to over 60 meters, using a mixture of gases called Tri-mix.
